Babashuva B. Chapter 1:

1 After those things, I wish to speak of their sin in the name of GOD, for his words are in my mouth; and the hand of GOD will guide me, for the word of GOD is in my mouth. 2 The people of this generation went after the arbitrariness of their evil hearts, turned away from GOD and his word, and forgot him. 3 And I will also come among them, and I will begin to speak these things to them, and they have not heard, and I will begin to speak to them again; for my mouth will not be silent, GOD is in my heart and in his name I have prophesied. 4 Why is your nose high, and you have forgotten GOD? and why did your heart hate him? 5 Your heart is strong, and you have become proud, and your heart is hard as a stone and cold as ice; you have become stubborn people. 6 You are rude and have distanced yourself from his word and his law, and you forgot him, and you did not remember the good he did with your prophets either. 7 And he spoke to the rest of the prophets about the prophecy and said to Ezekiel the prophet that he will return you to the land after the exile and raise you from your graves. 8 And he gave you hope for its aftermath, and behold, he also united the people, and behold, his prophecy took place, and with them the other prophets, too, and you forgot GOD. 9 Man and man; Woman and woman followed the arbitrariness of their evil hearts and did only evil all day long because their hearts were very far from GOD. 10 And what will be your end, and what will be your days because man and man followed his desires; And woman and woman after their lusts, after your desire you went and lost your soul. 11 Because your hearts are far from him, and his commandments written in the Torah of Moses; You have not listened to the words of the prophets, and I, too, have perished as wind and dust because you hate GOD from the bottom of your hearts.

12 Your souls hated the word of GOD and followed the teachings of man, which GOD did not know and which he did not command, because it is the word of man. 13 And you went to create for you a new teachings and new customs that Moses and his generation did not know, and you praise your dead as the living. 14 And they also became GOD, and in his name, they praised and lamented, and to him, they hoped that their hearts were away from GOD, and they left him. In his name, they blessed him.

15 And in his name, they worshiped, and in his name, they distanced themselves from GOD and adored him and made him one of the idols that I neither desired nor wanted.

16 His followers and disciples made him GOD, but he never called himself GOD because his heart was close to GOD, and in death, he prayed to me, but they turned away and left GOD and believed in man. 17 They turned man into GOD, and soon he will turn in his grave and die again.

18 Because he is a man, not GOD because he is like the rest of the people. 19 And I will say everything before them, about the deeds of man and man; and about the acts of woman and woman, and I will take criticism, and I will speak of the man who has become GOD, and I have been attacked. 20 And what have I said before that you are attacking me, for you have left GOD, turned away from him, and followed the arbitrariness of your evil heart.

21 And go one man and another man, and one woman and another woman; after your heart’s desires and your soul are already lost. 22 And behold, other flesh and blood gods they have worship, the Torah has been lost, its commandments who will kept because they have killed GOD, and his words have been thrown down the drain.

23 Please obey the word of GOD, his commandments, his law, and his prophet, and be blessed with all the works of your hands, for he has spoken the word of GOD.
